Service Description

For those interested in taking agility classes with their dogs, or who have not taken an agility class previously at All Star Dog Sports, this is where you will begin! In our Intro 1 class, you will learn our training methodology of how to introduce new skills to your dog and correct reinforcement strategies. We will also cover teaching basic proprioception (body awareness- which is a must for safe introduction to the agility obstacles), impulse control and other vital building blocks for enjoying agility with your dog! Minimum age is 6 months. Please note: Aggressive and reactive dogs are not allowed to participate in any of our classes. Any dog exhibiting either will be dismissed from class. Successful completion of Puppy and basic obedience classes is strongly encouraged before participating in agility training. ***This is a 6-week session. Class dates are May 16, 23, 30, June 6, 20, 27). Class will be cancelled in the event inclement weather and will be extended a week for each cancelled class.

Refunds are only given if your spot can be filled by somebody else prior to the start of the event.*** Agreement to Hold-Harmless Waiver & Assumption of Risk: By registering for this event, I understand that attendance of a dog training class is not without risk to myself, members of my family or guests who may attend, or my dog, because some of the dogs to which I will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care. By registering for this class, I hereby waive and release All Star Dog Sports, LLC, Lori Michaels, Cassie Schmidt, Jenifer Loesing and Janel Davidson from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but without limitation to, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while attending any training session or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.
